The Vision of the INI
The Vision of the INI is to develop innovative negotiation tools and to mobilize knowledge derived from an international body of credible negotiation science in order to make them accessible, on a non-profit basis, to educators, skills trainers, practitioners and others.
The Mission of the INI is to achieve its Vision by:
- Mobilizing, compiling and coordinating theoretical and empirical research data on negotiation using a global multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural and multi-sectoral approach;
- Developing practical, open-access research-based online resources to aid educators and negotiators;
- Contributing to the advancement and wide dissemination of knowledge by the development of modern negotiation theories and science-based models, proposals and best practices; and
- Encouraging major financial and human investment in science-based negotiation research.
